Dr. Jatinder Mundi

Owner / Veterinarian
Over 20 years of experience in veterinary medicine and surgery. Former assistant professor at the College of Veterinary Sciences, Punjab Agricultural University Ludhiana. Practiced in Saskatchewan and Alberta before establishing his career in the Lower Mainland. Founder of Mission Veterinary Hospital.

Dr. Bibek Sharma

Veterinarian
Graduated from GADVASU, Ludhiana 2020. Joined Mission Veterinary Hospital 2022 on restricted license. Achieved full DVM accreditation in Canada 2024.

Dr. Ramandeep Kaur

Veterinarian
Dr. Ramandeep Kaur joined the Gladys Pet Hospital team in November 2022. She earned her Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry in 2017 from Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, India. She subsequently completed her master’s degree in veterinary surgery and Radiology at the same institution. Dr. Raman has also contributed to the welfare of animals through her work with various rescue organizations in India, where she provided medical care to stray and underserved animals. She is deeply committed to the health and well-being of her patients and takes great pride in delivering compassionate, high-quality veterinary care to those who cannot advocate for themselves. In her free time, Dr. Raman enjoys playing pickleball and working out to maintain her physical fitness and overall well-being.

Dawn Hewitt

Veterinary Technician
Dawn has been a dedicated Registered Veterinary Technician at Gladys since 2017, bringing years of experience and compassion to every patient she cares for. She has a particular passion for dental and surgical patients, ensuring each procedure is handled with precision and gentle care. Outside of the clinic, Dawn is a proud mom of three children and a devoted pet parent to a rescue dog and four cats. Dawn is usually accompanied by her cat Miller who was found as an orphan in Mill Lake park. He goes out and about to school, soccer, skating and dance. He is usually dressed up and is great emotional support to high furry and human friends. Dawn’s commitment to both her patients and their families reflects her belief that veterinary care is about more than just medicine—it’s about building trust, comfort, and lasting bonds.

Amandeep Kaur Gill

Veterinary Technician
Amandeep Kaur Gill is a compassionate veterinary professional originally from Punjab, India. She holds a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (B.V.Sc) from Khalsa College of Animal and Veterinary Sciences, Amritsar, and a Master of Veterinary Science (M.V.Sc) in Veterinary Microbiology from Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Ludhiana. With over eight years of experience as a Veterinary Officer in a poultry laboratory, she brings strong expertise in animal health and diagnostics. Currently working at Gladys Pet Hospital, Amandeep is dedicated to providing gentle, attentive care to every patient while preparing for her professional licensing exam. She is passionate about animal welfare and values building trust with both pets and their owners. In her free time, she enjoys music and writing.

Mehul Jadav

Veterinary Technician
Mehul Jadav is a dedicated Veterinary Technician with a strong academic background in Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry from Navsari Agricultural University. He also holds a Master’s degree in Veterinary Science specializing in Veterinary Parasitology. Currently, he is preparing for his DVM licensing examinations in Canada to further advance his professional veterinary career. Passionate about animal health and welfare, Mehul combines scientific knowledge with compassionate care to support the wellbeing of animals. Alongside his professional interests, he enjoys hiking, cooking, and gym workouts, reflecting his active and balanced lifestyle.

Yasaman Afzali

Veterinary Technician
Yasaman Afzali is a Veterinary Technician with a Veterinary degree from Islamic Azad University, Tabriz, Iran. She is currently working at Gladys Pet Hospital while preparing for her veterinary licensing exams. She assists veterinarians in patient care and is known for her patience and caring approach. Yasaman is passionate about animal health and enjoys providing compassionate care to her patients. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, exploring nature, and hosting guests.

Sarah Powell

Veterinary Technician Student
Sarah is currently finishing her Veterinary Technology diploma through Thompson Rivers university. In her spare time she enjoys walking her dog and teaching her cat tricks.

Gaganpreet Kaur

Veterinary Assistant
Gagan is our dedicated Veterinary Assistant who pursued her studies in Science. She has been working with us for the past 6 years and is highly dependable, responsible, and deeply caring toward all of our furry friends. Her compassionate nature and commitment to animal care make her an important part of our team. Gagan also enjoys volunteering in the community and loves giving back whenever she can. In her free time, she enjoys reading books, cooking and hiking.

Avneet Sandhu

Veterinary Assistant
Avneet Sandhu is a dedicated Veterinary Assistant who completed her Veterinary Assistant program at Vancouver Career College in December 2024. She has always been passionate about animal husbandry and welfare, and strives to reflect that passion in her work at Gladys Pet Hospital. Avneet is currently preparing to further her education by pursuing a Veterinary Technician program, continuing her commitment to growth within the veterinary field. At home, Avneet is a proud cat owner to three beloved companions: Willow, a Domestic Shorthair; Freya, a fluffy Ragdoll; and Taz, another Domestic Shorthair. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her pets and loved ones, as well as going for long walks, hiking, and reading.

Andrea Baird

Receptionist
Andrea is our receptionist, she is the first point of contact at our clinic and she is dedicated to making every client and pet feel as welcomed as possible. Working at Gladys Pet Hospital is especially meaningful to her because she gets to be a part of a team that strives to support animal health and wellbeing. Visits can sometimes feel stressful for the pets and their parents, it is her goal to always create a calm, friendly experience from the moment you walk through the door. When she’s not at the front desk she enjoys spending time with our patients, and broadening her knowledge on pet care. She is always eager to learn new things and help out when ever it is needed. She is passionate about client care and animals and she enjoys building relationships with both new and returning clients. Andrea’s love for animals expands beyond the clinic, she has a dog named Winston, a cat named Gus, a leopard gecko named Gary and a fish named Miles. Caring for a variety of pets gives her a deeper appreciation of the unique needs of each species and helps her better connect with the pets we see everyday. During her off time she enjoys hiking, camping, paddle boarding and snowboarding. She is happy to help answer any questions, assist with bookings, and ensure that you are your pets always feel comfortable during your visit.
